System Recommendations for 2017?

Postby brettcollins » 30 Jan 2017, 21:47

Hey team, just wondering if there's an updated list of system recommendations for best possible performance of Caspar using gear that's available in 2017? Seems like it was last updated in 2012 unless I'm missing something .. has nothing changed in 5 years?

Thanks!

Just simply use gear, that meets or exceeds the system recomendations. That's all.

Cheers, but that's not all that helpful.. I could throw any combination of video cards / processors / OS's that 'exceed system requirements' but that doesnt necessarily mean they've been tested to work well with the server / client. Right?

I was looking more for some more specific tried and tested hardware specs that are more modern than what was out in 2012.

Thanks all

Here is a question with a simple analogy, for you :

If you want to the standard Porsche car,
why should you buy a new Lamborghini ?
