c# .dll file framework question

#1
Hi

I'm at a relatively basic level with my C# programming right now and I've looked at various source code for Caspar client communications but what I'm looking for at the moment is a very basic solution to use the Svt.Caspar and Svt.Network .dll files to simply connect to a localhost server, load and play a file and get file info back from the server. Having this basic code/explanation would invaluble and would allow me to slowly build a solution as my knowledge grows. Here's my very basic code so far:

using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Linq;
using System.Text;
using System.Threading.Tasks;
using Svt.Network;
using Svt.Caspar;

namespace CasparCGcontroltest
{
class Program
{
static void Main(string[] args)
{
// Open server connection

ServerConnection serv1 = new ServerConnection();
serv1.InitiateConnection("localhost",5250);

// Load a media file in foreground

Channel ch1 = new Channel();
ch1.Load(1, "AMB.mp4", false);

Console.WriteLine("Hopefully this works!!");
Console.ReadLine();
}
}
}

The part that has me stumped is the Channel class which is what I thought I'd need to use to Load and Play files has an internal constructor so I'm unable to access the code from outside the class. This makes me think I'm looking in the wrong place for running the basic commands.

I'd be enormously grateful for any help since I've spent the best part of the last 2 days searching through other people's code and being largely unsuccessful with my own code.

Thanks,
Martin
