Text not shown if text box has ANY rotation (Flash)

#1
Hello all... in AnimateCC (flash) if I set a text to a box with a ANY rotation (even +/-1°) the text does not shows up. Has anyone found this problem?

I'm testing on a simple template with nothing but two text boxes... one with 0° rotation and the other 1°... only the one text box with NO rotation displays the text.

Am I missing something?

Thanks

How do I do that?

The movie clip is called "box45" and these are the only two lines I have in the SetData fuinction.

Code: Select all

override public function SetData(xmlData:XML):void
{
	mcMainProduct.box45.xtxt.text = "45";
	mcMainProduct.box45.rotation = 1;
}
Just add the 3rd line:

Code: Select all

override public function SetData(xmlData:XML):void
{
	mcMainProduct.box45.xtxt.text = "45";
	mcMainProduct.box45.rotation = 1;
	mcMainProduct.box45.cacheAsBitmap = true;
}

You have called your field xtxt.

Fields that begin with x are ignored by the template generator.

If you set the texr from ActionsScript it does not matter. That is only true, if you let the Template Generator make the field accessible from Caspar.
